In this second screencast on Claude, we dive deeper into the more powerful and more customizable features that can really help you level up your productivity. We'll be looking at Claude Skills and show you how to build your own, briefly touch on MCP (model context protocol) to show you how connecting to other tools can give your Claude new abilities, and show you how you can schedule tasks that use these skills and MCP connections to get things done while you're away from your computer. We'll even show you how to use Claude Code to vibe code a complete web app from scratch without knowing any code.

After looking in detail at how Superwhisper works on macOS, it's only right that its iOS counterpart should get some attention. Being able to capture text accurately on the move is a wonderful ability to have. Whilst not as full-featured as the Mac version, Superwhisper on iOS allows you to capture text both in-app and via the dedicated keyboard.

In this video, Lee walks you through the basics, and show you how to configure a shortcut to allow you to easily specify the mode you want to use with Superwhisper on iOS.

In Part 1 of this double-header, you learned the basics of getting started with Superwhisper. In this video, Lee takes it further by showing you the two remaining modes, Super and Meeting. You also learn how to create your own modes that can be configured to transcribe your dictated text in any number of ways.

By combining customised AI prompts with high-powered voice models, Superwhisper can output your words any way you like and allow you to build some powerful workflows.

Lee has been looking at taking the plunge with a dictation application for a while now. However, with an above average typing speed, coupled with a distrust in the quality of the dictation apps available, he's never pulled the trigger. That is, until now.

While trying to find efficiencies in his workflows and make more time available during the day, he gave Superwhisper a try and the results are quite something. At its core, it can transcribe dictated text with unnerving accuracy due the available models. And when combined with AI processing, all of a sudden you're able to work a lot smarter, with Superwhisper doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

In this first of a two-part series, Lee looks into the origins of dictation and how it can help us, as well as getting started with the core functionality of Superwhisper. He closes off Part 1 by looking at some of the built-in modes you can enable, allowing you to dictate text knowing it will be transcribed in a format suitable for email, notes, messaging, and more.

With the rise in AI tools showing no sign of slowing, it can be easy to find yourself bouncing between tools and services in a typical day. Dia, the new browser from The Browser Company, aims to change that, by letting you chat with your tabs and get the answers you need within one application.

After announcing there would be no further development of their first browser, Arc, Dia has been growing in popularity, especially since it started including some of the features that made Arc popular - such as the vertical sidebar. In this video, Lee walks you through how to make the most of the Dia interface, before diving into how you can use Chat, Skills and Memory to browse the web and make the whole experience more efficient.

The Health application can contain a lot of data, however, when it comes to extracting the data into a readable format, it can be found wanting. Activas is an application that attempts to resolve this shortfall by pulling the data from core Health categories and not only presenting them in a manner that's useful, it also uses on-device AI to offer solid recommendations on how you can maintain or improve your stats.

At the time of recording, it's a free application that solves a genuine problem and all information is processed on-device, meaning privacy concerns are maintained as well. So in this video, Lee walks through Activas end-to-end, starting with deciding what information you would like Activas to work with, through to using the AI to help make sense of it all.

ChatGPT is integrating with a lot more apps and services. One of the most recent, at the time of recording, is Apple Music. By leveraging its ability to query the Apple Music library of artists, albums and tracks, you can create some playlists that really work for you, whilst still being mindful of the privacy restrictions you would expect from Apple.

In this video. Lee walks through how to connect the services, and demonstrates some example prompts that you may draw inspiration from. You also see some of the differences between using Apple Music and Spotify with ChatGPT. The privacy considerations of one are very different from the other. After covering Perplexity in show 1517, it was only a matter of time before their web browser, Comet, received Lee's attention. Comet attempts to take browsing to the next level by incorporating AI features to further improve the user experience, and it makes a solid fist of doing this.

This video is split into three distinct parts. In the first section, Lee looks at the regular web browsing features that warrant attention. It isn't a deep dive into how to use a browser, but rather a look at how Comet takes things like Tab Groups and makes them work differently to other products. In the second part, he show you the AI-agentic features such as summarising pages, ordering productions and looking at multiple tabs to get information. You may be surprised at some of the results! Lee then wraps up by looking at just a few of the settings that you may want to tweak to improve your experience. It's certainly a glimpse into the future of web browsing.

Kagi Search has rapidly gained in popularity over the last twelve months, so Lee thought it would be a good idea to put it through it's paces and see what the fuss is about. Initially reluctant, because why pay for web searching when Google is free, it didn't take long for him to see why people love it so much and in this video, Lee shows you what he found and walks through the product end-to-end. You'll learn how to configure basic searches, personalise results, create shortcuts to target your searches to specific sites and locales, and much more, including touching on Kagi Assistant, Kagi's AI helper.
