Tutorial Description

Collect your thoughts and ideas using OneNote from Microsoft.

OneNote is a cross platform digital notebook with clients available for Mac, iPad, iPhone, PC and Android, as well as online access via your favourite browser and it's free!

With 7GB of online storage for free and seamless syncing, OneNote allows you to create notebooks, sections and pages and populate them with text, tables and images. All your data is stored online and syncronised between all of your computers and devices.

In this episode, I take a look at the iPad and iPhone apps and demonstrate some of the basic features of OneNote. Be sure to check out this week's Mac show - SCOM0448 - to review OneNote on the Mac.

The full tutorial covers:

  • Introduction to OneNote
  • Navigation
  • Adding Content
  • Tables and Images
  • Searching & Sharing
  • iPhone & iPod Touch App

The tutorial made me think this was an app worth using. well designed quite functional to varying degrees depending on device used.
I would use it if I were not already heavily committed to Evernote. Changing over or migrating is far too much work.
