The iOS Files app was introduced in 2017 and it's fair to say that it doesn't sit front and centre of the iOS experience in the same way that Finder does for macOS. That's not to say it doesn't have it uses. In fact, if you spend just a little time with it, you'll see that it's a really handy way to access files across multiple applications on your device.
