After setting up an iPad for a family friend recently, Lee realised there were lots of settings that he was going in and either validating or, more often than not, changing from the defaults to suit their needs. This got him into thinking that there are lots of behaviours in iPadOS that people take as the norm, when actually there are some useful changes to be made.

In this video, Lee walks you through some of the first things he checks through when setting up a new device that may not be immediately obvious and some can really improve your overall experience.

Note that this is not a comprehensive list of all settings that should be checked! Simply a list of some that can potentially go undiscovered, or yield a significant impact when changed.
