The touch interface of your favorite iOS device combined with the simple design of Ferrite provides a great environment for editing and publishing audio for the web. There's something about editing audio with your finger or Apple Pencil that makes this task more personal and more enjoyable.
This week, Mike explains how you can use Ferrite to edit, and even record, a podcast. He shows you some basic editing techniques and guides you through the built-in tools and effects that make Ferrite such a great tool for podcasters. You also learn how to set up automation like fading out an intro track, adding artwork and chapter markers for export, and leveling your audio for the final mix.

At the 13 minute mark the Duck King setting is applied to the wrong track. The music track should be left on Duck in the voice track at the top should be the Duck King track.
I may have missed it, but how can I synchronise recordings between iPhone and iMac? It is more convenient to record on iPhone, but easier to edit on iPad. Where are the original recordings saved on iPhone and iPad, and can they be accessed via Files?
I am now copying raw recordings from both devices to an iCloud folder so I can record on iPhone and edit on iPad. It would be nice if synchronisation between devices happened automatically. I am not a podcaster, but I use Ferrite to record meetings and research notes. Being able to edit them in the same app, and add music or sound effects is very convenient. Ferrite is a very useful app.
