It was just a year ago that we took a look at the newest version of Things, and examined all of the interface changes and new functionality that were added to an already well-designed application. Since then, the team at Cultured Code have added six new updates to further increase the functionality of Things 3.
In this screencast, Todd takes a look at updates that both improve automation and make managing your tasks easier.
He also demonstrates some new workflows using third-party applications (for both macOS and iOS) that can be leveraged to take advantage of these new automation features included in Things 3.

Things 3 is the latest update to the popular task management application by Cultured Code, and is is currently receiving rave reviews. So much so that we've been inundated with requests to cover it on ScreenCastsOnline!
Things 3 is available for the Mac, iPhone, and iPad and includes syncing between all three platforms. Redesigned from the ground up, Things 3 has with a brand new UI design, along with many new features and enhancements which we cover in this screencast.
UPDATE: Things 3 has just been awarded an Apple Design Award at WWDC 2017!

I've had lots of requests to cover Things for a while now, but I've always felt it needed a few tweaks on the integration side, especially due to my personal reliance on using both a task management application along with the standard Apple email application.
Thankfully, with the release of Things 1.2, the wait was over, as not only was superb email integration delivered but some other unexpected features as well!.
