TaskPaper is a plain text to-do list app for Mac that is surprisingly adept. It may feel like a plain text editor, but it's backed by a powerful outliner to help you fold, focus, and filter any size to-do list.
In this episode, Mike introduces you to the TaskPaper app and its formatting, which can be used in other applications. You'll learn how TaskPaper handles projects, tasks, tags, and notes, how to set up custom searches, as well as import and export from the Reminders app. Also covered is how to customize the stylesheets to make your own themes, and install scripts to extend the functionality of TaskPaper to make it do just about anything you might want.
