Airmail is not a new email app, but with the advent of Airmail 3 for the Mac and Airmail 1.1 for the iPad and iPhone, it's actually a very robust and feature packed alternative to the standard Apple Mail client.
In this second and final tutorial, I take a look at some of the more advanced features as well as customising Airmail on both OS X and iOS.
One of the issues with getting to grips with Airmail isthat it is so configurable and can confound people when they first start using it. However, if you take the time to customise it, the power of Airmail is exposed and you really can start to benefit from a different way of managing your email.

I can't turn the subtitles off!
Hi Richard, Please try the instructions here: https://screencastsonline.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205986221-Double-Subtitles-Nov-2015
Another good video Don. I have got Airmail but find one big issue - although I can add the Social, promotions etc Gmail folders, the contents are not replicated in Airmail and differ from Gmail itself. The Primary folder has the same issue. I'm testing Polymail too which gets the Gmail categories 100% right but it's not as powerful elsewhere. Any thoughts?
Hi Richard, I'm not a big Gmail user being primarily an Apple Mail user. No real answers to your question but I would suggest contacting the online help within the App to contact the developer.
Great two part episode on Airmail. It helped me greatly get started on this excellent app. There is still a lot to learn but your videos got me well on the way. Cheers.
The tutorial is great and was very useful to me while setting up Airmail and using it.
Question - Getting Mails are slow in Airmail compared to Apple mail app. While in Apple mail app or webmail I get mails quickly...the same mails through Airmail takes time. Why? Is there any setting for this?
Regards
Great program. Very helpful. I like Airmail as it is so customizable but I've experienced slowness in loading new emails where the apple mail app renders immediately.
