Something often asked is "Should I run an AntiVirus app on my Mac?"
There is still no definitive answer, but this week's show covers an easy to install and minimal impact anti virus application - ClamXav.
UPDATE June 2016 - Please note that since the episode was recorded, ClamXav is no longer a free application. It does have a 30 day free trial and includes an uninstaller to completely remove the app if you do not want to purchase it.
Allison Sheridan takes us through some of the potential dangers of antivirus and explains some of the terminology used. Followed up by the installation of ClamXav and a run through of some of its core components and features. Allison also covers some best practice on which components to install and how to configure them to give you maximum piece of mind with minimum effort.
