This week we take a look at the next generation of an old Mac favorite, Pixelmator Pro. Pixelmator has been around for a while now and is a solid replacement for work normally reserved for Photoshop. The beauty of Pixelmator is that it has a lot of power under the hood for a very reasonable price.
Well, the Pixelmator Team has done it again by introducing an upgraded version: Pixelmator Pro. With its new interface design, the way it takes advantage of Machine Learning and Metal 2, as well as a host of tools for photo and graphics editing, Pixelmator Pro may just be the only photo editing application you need.
In this screencast Todd covers some of the basics of the Pixelmator Pro mainly as it relates to photo editing. He walks you through the interface so you know where to find what you need and while working on a photo project, explain the tools commonly used for editing and enhancing your images.
