We continue our deep dive into the world of Claude by looking at Claude Design and some of the iOS-specific features we didn't get a chance to cover in the previous two screencasts.
In this video, Mike shares real-world examples of how you can use these features. This includes setting up your own design system, turning a photo of a whiteboard brainstorm session into a clean Markdown file, and using Claude as a personal trainer by integrating it with Apple Health. You also learn how to send messages from your phone to your Claude Desktop using Dispatch.
This video covers:
It should be noted that Health features are currently in beta, require a Pro or Max plan, and are available in the US only.

Hi Mike, the connection with Apple Health looks really useful. However, I don't seem to have that option in Claude on my iPhone. In fact, my "Add to Chat" screen looks rather different—I don't have "Tool access" or "Web search" as options, in addition to the missing "Apple Health". I'm in the US; I have a Claude Max subscription; and I'm using the latest version of Claude on my iPhone. What am I missing?! Any ideas? I tried searching connections for "Health" and "Apple Health", but that didn't turn up anything either.
Hi Christopher - I've just checked out the current requirements and added to the show description that Health features are currently in beta, require a Pro or Max plan, and are available in the US only. - that said, I don't see why YOU shouldn't be able to get it so I'll reach out to Mike :)
Hey Christopher, a little inside baseball I actually recorded that video for the screencast 3 weeks ago. Just checked again, and unfortunately, looks like it’s disappeared for me too since then ? Didn’t think that would be an issue since it was initially added back in January, but I apologize.
Ah, think I found it! Look under Settings > Permissions and see if Apple Health is listed there. That’s where it is for me currently.
Thank you both for following up so quickly! And thanks for your extra detective work, Mike. (And certainly no need to apologize!) Yep, that did it Claude > Settings > Permissions is where the toggle was, and now I'm connected to my Apple Health data. Thanks! I feel like the AI apps like Claude seem to be in a permanent state of flux and their interfaces and features are constantly changing, so I'm not surprised it's movd since you set it up.
