James Thomson's PCalc has been a "cult hit" in the Mac and iOS community for many years. And with the iPad lacking a native calculator app, Lee shows you why PCalc is a popular solution amongst users with its wealth of configuration options.
You learn how to use PCalc to carry out basic calculations as well as convert units, refer to constants, use the built-in functions to carry out complex algorithms, and much more.

My go-to advanced calculator is a physical HP50 using RPN, but I also use an HP50 emulator by Winter Storm on Mac iPad and iPhone. PCalc is a good alternative with the advantage of simpler syntax and easier access to conversions and constants, but without the powerful financial and statistics calculations or programming of the HP50.
I was not aware of PCalc before your screencast, bought it after watching, and now use it for everyday calculations. I like the tape and register views, and Shortcuts integration.
Thanks for the feedback Ian, we love it when our viewers find something new to help with their workflows!
