With the advent of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, 4K video is now available from your smartphone.
To compliment this new feature, Apple have released updates to iMovie to allow you to edit and export in glorious 4K. But not everyone wants to create 4K videos (for various reasons). The good news is you can future proof yourself by shooting in 4K today, and gain some tremendous benefits even if you want to create 1080p videos.
Breaking News! Just as the show was published, Apple released an updated version of iMovie for iOS (v2.2.1) that allows you to create and share movies in 4K on the iPad Air 2. In the recorded show, I say that you can only see 4k clips on the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPad Pro - looks like you can add iPad Air 2 to the list.
