So you're new to the Mac?
Perhaps a recent switcher across from Windows? Or maybe you like what you see with the iPad and iPhone and decided to get a Mac?
This is the second part of a multi-part series to be spread out over the next month or two, to bring you up to speed on the basics of using a Mac.
These new episodes assume no prior knowledge, and are intended for complete Mac beginners, although some of the sections do have some very useful stuff for not so new Mac users.
In this second part, I take a look at installing, using and deleting Applications from your Mac as well as giving some recommendations for "must have" applications, an introduction to the Finder with some basic file and folder operations, using the OSX Save and Open dialogues, an introduction to Apple mail and managing Application windows.
